But just like the tiny human that will soon be placed in your arms, this joyful season of life should be captured in a meaningful way before it's too late.
Maybe it was a bumpy road for you and your partner to get here. Or maybe you're certain this is your last pregnancy.
Plus, wouldn't it be nice when you're up for that 2 a.m. feeding for the 16th night in a row, to have photos that remind you that you slowed down long enough to capture what you were really preparing for.
Frequently asked questions
When should I book my session?
I'm a firm believer that beautiful photos can be taken at any time. However, I like to photograph my maternity clients around 30-32 weeks. If you want to capture the bump in all its glory, please keep in mind my calendar books up quickly. Contact me to reserve your session date as soon as possible!
is the whole family included?
Yes, of course! It's important to me that the images tell the story of a growing family, not just of the new baby.
what should we wear?
This part can be intimidating but don't worry! After you book, I'll send you clothing suggestions for the whole family and lots of photos for inspiration. As your session approaches, we will chat and I'll help you pull it all together.
Worried your house doesn't look camera ready?
Don't stress, this is part of my job. When I arrive at your house for the session, I'll take a few minutes to walk around and find quality natural light that will flatter everyone. You'd be surprised at how small of a space I actually need to make beautiful images!
