Vermont Maternity Photographer

Getting ready for baby usually goes something like this: buying the perfect crib, loading up on bottles and burp cloths and researching the safest car seat. It's no wonder maternity photos never see the light of day!

But just like the tiny human that will soon be placed in your arms, this joyful season of life should be captured in a meaningful way before it's too late.

Maybe it was a bumpy road for you and your partner to get here. Or maybe you're certain this is your last pregnancy.

Whatever the case may be, as your Vermont Maternity Photographer, I know we can create beautiful memories that you'll be grateful to have.

Plus, wouldn't it be nice when you're up for that 2 a.m. feeding for the 16th night in a row, to have photos that remind you that you slowed down long enough to capture what you were really preparing for.

FAQs

When should I book my session?

I'm a firm believer that beautiful photos can be taken at any time. However, I like to photograph my maternity clients around 28-32 weeks. If you want to capture the bump in all its glory, please keep in mind my calendar books up quickly. Contact me to reserve your session date as soon as possible!

is the whole family included?

Yes, of course! It's important to me that the images tell the story of a growing family, not just of the new baby.

what should we wear?

This part can be intimidating but don't worry! After you book, I'll send you clothing suggestions for the whole family and lots of photos for inspiration. As your session approaches, we will chat and I'll help you pull it all together.

What locations are best for maternity sessions?

I have several locations across Chittenden County that I prefer to photograph at. Many open fields and mountain landscapes in our area make the background look picturesque Vermont. And of course, home is always an option. An in-home maternity session—whether it’s by a window, in the bedroom, or in the nursery-in-progress—can feel incredibly intimate and meaningful, especially for parents who want something cozy, personal, and low-key. As your session approaches, we will chat and I'll help you choose a location that best suits your personality!
